The Snail is a collectible found within the The Evil Within DLCs The Assignment and The Consequence.

Unlike other Collectibles in The Evil Within, the Snail is the only Collectible that cannot readily be collected by the player upon finding, identifying it and attempting to collect it. The player, upon having found and identified the Snail, must produce the Flashlight and aim the beam at the Snail until it transforms into a gold, stylized version of the Tango Gameworks logo, (making the sound of a female whispering and sighing in the process, while pink hearts float above the Snail, culminating with the female voice uttering the word “Wow!”, finalizing the Snail’s transformation into a collectible item. Only then can the Snail be collected.
